Konica will feature DryPro 793, a dry laser imager designed for mammography applications. DryPro 793 features up to 4.0 Dmax and 25-micron resolution, and can also serve as an imager for multiple modalities in CR, CT, and MRI departments, according to the Wayne, NJ-based vendor.

2005 11 11 15 17 48 706 It can print up to 120 films per hour (for 14 x 17-inch films), and can deliver the first film in 90 seconds, Konica Minolta said. In addition, DryPro 793 offers 43.75-micron or 25-micron pixel sizes, a color touchscreen user interface with Web access, a three-film drawer capacity, and an optional six-bin sorter.

Other features include up to 16 input DICOM ports and 8 x 10- or 10 x 12-inch film size capacity for mammography, according to the firm. DryPro 793 measures slightly over 2 x 2 ft, and just under 5 ft in height.
