Philips will demonstrate its Media & Distribution Center software.
Designed to serve as an alternative to medical laser printers, the Media & Distribution Center connects to any DICOM imaging environment, according to the Andover, MA-based firm. Any examination data transferred will automatically be recorded onto a self-playing CD or DVD, Philips said.
Postprocessing software and labeling information is included. The Media & Distribution Center can also perform automatic backup of data with database registration.
