Sorna will unveil version 2 of its eXpedo software for its FilmX family of DICOM CD/DVD recording systems.
Version 2.0 adds a new user interface to ease connectivity and incorporate more viewing features, according to the Eagan, MN-based firm. It also supports DICOM storage commit, and includes the ability to display private DICOM tags. FilmX systems now offer local image storage and have optional archiving capability, Sorna said.
Sorna will also show off its Open LiteBox Administrator software. The software package automates the transfer of patient demographic data, reports, and images from a DICOM CD/DVD into a PACS network.
Employing IHE's portable data for imaging (PDI) importer profile, users can import using a modality work list option, archive query option, or manual entry option, Sorna said. All methods permanently retain the original patient and study demographics as private DICOM tags, according to the company.
