Expenses associated with its pending merger with StorComm resulted in a net loss for Creative Computer Applications in its third quarter (end-September 30).
Sales slipped to $1.7 million, compared with $2.3 million in the third quarter of 2004. The Calabasas, CA, company posted a net loss of $1.1 million, compared with net income of $312,000 in the same quarter a year ago.
In the nine-month period, sales declined to $5.1 million, down from $6 million in the same period of 2004. The firm's net loss totaled $1.5 million, compared with net income of $449,000 in the same period last year.
