Acuo will make its RSNA debut this year, presenting its AcuoMed/AcuoStore storage architecture.
AcuoMed/AcuoStore can create centralized repositories (designed for facilities ranging from imaging centers up to enterprise-wide healthcare organizations with multiple PACS networks) or distributed DICOM storage grids, according to the St. Paul, MN-based firm.
In product developments, Acuo will show next-generation products that utilize the firm's Intelligent Data Infrastructure technology. These include a scalable and configurable DICOM router, a reconciliation gateway for enterprise work list synchronization, and an Archive/Image Manager, Acuo said.
Acuo will also introduce A.D.A.M., a data migration tool used in conjunction with the firm's Image Manager software. A.D.A.M. provides for DICOM data transfer from one or more legacy PACS networks to new archives and/or PACS networks.
In addition to selling directly to healthcare facilities, Acuo said it is now offering its systems as an OEM supplier to PACS vendors, in partnership with systems integrators and resellers.
