Healthcare informatics vendor Integrated Modular Systems (IMSI) of Havertown, PA, will launch its imsiArchive, a newly developed, secure, HIPAA-compliant offsite archiving and data-recovery product.
The company said that the product allows it to offer its clients a secure and cost-effective means of HIPAA-compliant storage, as well as supply an emergency operations mode and recovery capabilities in the event of a data disaster. The imsiArchive was developed over the past year through a technology partnership between IMSI medical engineering specialists and data backup and recovery experts from Conshohocken, PA-based IPR International.
IMSI said the imsiArchive conducts the secure transfer of patient information and images to remote-site storage from any HL7- or DICOM-compliant environment, and offers live backup and online access of images and information.
IMSI said the imsiArchive can be customized to fulfill client-specific storage needs and requirements.
