American Medical Sales (AMS) of Hawthorne, CA, has unveiled its new Prince PACS for small medical practices.
Features include an image gateway that serves as the central point for the receipt and distribution of digital images, an archive to store as many as 25,000 14 x 17-inch x-ray films, and CD burning for distribution of patient images to other healthcare providers.
AMS set the retail price at $22,950 for hardware, software, preplanning meetings, and interfacing with modality providers. AMS and its authorized dealers handle design, development, support, and implementation for Prince.
