Thinking Systems wins PACS deals

PACS and advanced visualization software firm Thinking Systems of St. Petersburg, FL, has won a contract with three Toronto health networks.

Thinking Systems will install its PACS software for nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, PET/CT fusion, SPECT/CT fusion, and other modalities at hospitals within the University Health Network (UHN), Mount Sinai Hospital (MSH), and Women's College Hospital (WCH), all of Toronto.

The installation will include Thinking Systems' ModalityBroker and its NuGateway DICOM gateway that brings nuclear medicine data from legacy scanners and workstations to PACS. The deal will also include Thinking Systems' MDStation multimodality PACS workstation, according to the company.
