Numa inks deal with BioDose

Nuclear medicine connectivity developer Numa of Amherst, NH, has signed a deal with radioisotope tracking firm BioDose of Las Vegas to develop an application to enhance the DICOM communications abilities of the BioDose system.

Under the agreement, Numa will develop an application for integration into the BioDose system, with the BioDose DICOM Worklist software interfacing with a RIS or PACS and querying the DICOM Worklist provider.

The results of the query include a list of patients who are scheduled for an exam and will be used to populate the BioDose database with patient demographics. The companies believe the deal will enhance nuclear medicine department workflow by improving accuracy and reducing the time required for data entry.
