Intuitive Imaging Informatics (I3) of Bell Canyon, CA, plans to highlight new functionality for its ImageQube Web-based PACS software at next month's RSNA meeting in Chicago.
The company will debut new advanced visualization tools for the software, including on-the-fly multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and real-time volume rendering. The tools are based on software from Calgary Scientific, the Canadian software developer with whom I3 has integrated its applications.
Intuitive also plans to highlight integrated diagnostic interpretation, with voice recognition, digital dictation, and transcription capabilities. Meanwhile, spontaneous collaboration is facilitated through the availability of a consultation whiteboard feature for sharing images between physicians, the company said.
