Naohiro Fujitani has been named president and CEO of Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT.
He succeeds Hiroaki Tada, who retired after almost 40 years with Fuji, the last two of which were spent at Fujifilm Medical Systems USA.
Fujitani most recently served as the company's senior executive vice president. Before coming to the U.S., he was senior vice president of Fujifilm Europe and general manager of the company's graphic systems division, where he was responsible for the sales, marketing, manufacturing, day-to-day operations, and profitability of the graphics businesses in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
