Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare has sold interoperability and surgical planning software to Resurgens Orthopaedics, a 99-physician practice located in Atlanta.
In addition to adding Merge's orthopedic surgical planning software to its existing Merge OrthoPACS, Resurgens Orthopaedics has purchased iConnect, an integrated software suite that facilitates the sharing of diagnostic content, images, and report results. This will be integrated into the practice's enterprise-wide electronic health record (EHR).
