Image compression software developer Accusoft said it has released an upgrade to its Barcode Xpress software development kit (SDK).
The new version of the Barcode Xpress SDK includes the ability to read and write QR codes using one component, according to Accusoft. Barcode Xpress supports all four QR code modes: numeric, alphanumeric, binary, and Kanji; mode selection is automatic to give the best compression.
