RIS/PACS vendor Infinitt North America has signed a 10-year agreement with the National Football League (NFL).
The company will provide on-demand access to players' medical images using its Infinitt Smart-Net Web-based PACS. Smart-Net is designed to store digital copies of images across a network of data centers. It will allow instant viewing of both new and historical images from any stadium, team facility, or physician's office with proper access, Infinitt said.
The images can also be viewed by multiple people simultaneously and on mobile devices from the sidelines, according to the company.
