In this educational exhibit, Singapore researchers will discuss the potential for a mobile messaging app to support image review, group communication, and decision-making in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage and ischemic stroke.
A team from the National Neuroscience Institute tried out a prototype app called the Mobile Stroke Acute Radiology Command Center, which alerts team members such as radiologists, nurses, technologists, and clinicians to log in to the system to review images, respond, and trigger a "go" procedure (such as aneurysm coiling or mechanical thrombectomy) or a "no-go" conclusion.
