Display calibration firm Qubyx Software Technologies has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its DICOM calibration tool with a Dell UP3017 monitor.
The software and monitor are intended for use in viewing MR, CT, x-ray, ultrasound, and other medical images, as well as for review and diagnostics, according to the company.
Qubyx PerfectLum software uses the 14-bit internal lookup table (LUT) of the Dell 4K monitor to calibrate it to DICOM. The monitor provides 2560 x 1600 resolution, and the software offers scheduling for calibration and quality control tests, history, and a remote control feature, Qubyx said.
