Image management and teleradiology firm NucleusHealth has partnered with Microsoft on its Nucleus.io image management software.
Microsoft Azure will power the cloud-based software. NucleusHealth selected Azure for its binary large object (blob) storage needs and also the cloud backend to run the image management software, which serves more than 2,700 facilities in the U.S., according to the company.
Nucleus.io can be used to store, share, and access images anytime and anywhere with internet access, and it features advanced analytics and machine learning. Developers also can use its application programming interface (API) management layer to support clinical workflows and build custom web-based imaging applications.
