Data management firm Mach7 Technologies has announced an agreement to purchase longtime partner and image viewing software developer Client Outlook.
The acquisition will enable Mach7 to offer a modular enterprise imaging package to customers, according to the vendor. Client Outlook's eUnity enterprise and diagnostic viewer and Mach7's universal worklist, workflow engine, and clinical vendor-neutral archive could be implemented independently, in combination, or as a complete stack, Mach7 said.
The companies have been partners for years and have collaborated on a number of enterprise imaging installations, including at Sentara Healthcare and the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
