Given Imaging has signed deals with three Asian distributors for its M2A Capsule Endoscope, a single-use pill that is ingested and collects images as it moves through the digestive tract.
The Yoqneam, Israel-based company said the capsule camera will be sold in the U.K. by Diagmed, in China by CyberPharm Investment, and in Taiwan by HT Union.
The system includes a disposable miniature video camera that delivers color images to a receiver worn around the patient's waist. The images are then processed on a workstation and converted into video.
