Minrad of Buffalo, NY, posted sharply higher sales and a narrower net loss for its first quarter (end-March 31).
For the period, Minrad turned in sales of $2.4 million, compared with sales of $878,000 in the same period of 2004. The company had a net loss for the quarter of $895,000, down compared with a net loss of $1.5 million in the corresponding quarter of 2004.
