Digital infrared imaging developer Infrared Sciences has raised $2.1 million in financing through a stock offering, according to the Stony Brook, NY-based firm.
The firm said it would use the capital to fund the continued introduction of its Sentinel BreastScan infrared imaging system, designed as an adjunct to mammography, ultrasound, or clinical examination for the early detection of breast cancer.
