Toshiba America Medical Systems has introduced its Infinix cardiac biplane (CB-i) flat-panel x-ray system.
Developed in conjunction with partner Columbus Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH, Infinix CB-i features a five-axis positioner for fingertip-to-fingertip and head-to-toe coverage for diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures, according to the Tustin, CA-based vendor.
The system also allows for two different views from a single contrast injection, and provides 180-degree access to the patient, Toshiba said. It also features parallel processing, allowing various tasks to occur simultaneously, as well as a variable isocenter for centering of anatomy, according to the vendor.
