Optical molecular imaging developer ART Advanced Research Technologies said that a clinical study of its SoftScan breast imaging system has begun at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
The site is the first of the Saint-Laurent, Quebec-based vendor's clinical research sites in the U.S. The clinical study will provide results to support the vendor's premarket approval (PMA) application to the Food and Drug Administration, ART said.
