Eastman Kodak Health Group reported third-quarter sales of $635 million, down 1% compared with the third quarter a year ago. For the period (end-September 30), the Rochester, NY-based vendor had earnings from operations of $90 million, compared with $106 million a year ago.
Quarterly highlights included a 24% increase in digital capture systems, as well as strong sales of healthcare information systems, Kodak said. Kodak CEO and president Antonio Perez said that Health Group operating margins rebounded from a soft start earlier this year, led by solid sales of computed radiography systems.
