Medical device firm ART Advanced Research Technologies of Montreal has received a letter of purchase intent from Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto for its SoftScan breast imaging system, the company reported.
Sunnybrook has stated that it plans to purchase a SoftScan device by the end of the first quarter of 2008. SoftScan is an optical breast imaging system designed as a complementary diagnostic tool to mammography for the detection and treatment monitoring of breast cancer.
