Don Ryan, chairman and CEO of radiology benefits management firm CareCore National, passed away this weekend at the age of 64.
Effective immediately, Dr. Richard Weininger, executive vice president for corporate strategies, will become chairman of CareCore National's management committee following Ryan's unexpected death.
President and chief operating officer Douglas Tardio also will take on additional responsibilities.
Ryan, 64, co-founded the company in 1994, and under his leadership CareCore National became a leading specialty benefits management company in the areas of radiology, cardiology, oncology, lab, musculoskeletal, and sleep management, the firm said.
