Siemens Healthcare has been awarded a radiology systems contract from the U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Logistics Agency that's valued up to a maximum of $1.94 billion.
The award, which covers radiology systems, subsystems, and components, is a modification that exercises the third option year on a previous contract, according to the DOD. The contract will be used by the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies and will be completed by March 30, 2013.
