Radiographic equipment vendor Quantum Medical Imaging has installed its Q-Vision generator at Boise State University.
The university is using the Q-Vision generator to power its stationary x-ray unit, Quantum said. Boise State also plans to purchase another Quantum system in the coming months.
The Q-Vision series incorporates a high-frequency design for efficient x-ray production, delivering power levels up to 80 kW and outputs up to 150 kVp with a near-constant potential of up to 120 kHz, the company said.
