Royal Philips, the parent company of Philips Healthcare, has joined a coalition to advance quality and safety in healthcare.
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF) merged in May to form a patient safety coalition. The group's mission is to improve the health of populations and the patient care experience, Philips said.
