Canadian display controller provider Matrox Graphics reported that medical imaging display developer Image Systems of Minnetonka, MN, will bundle the Matrox Aurora VX series display controller boards with its high-resolution LCD medical displays.
Aurora VX is capable of driving various combinations of color and grayscale displays in portrait or landscape modes, and features an 8- or 10-bit display output for 256 or 1,024 simultaneous shades of gray, depending on the available displays attached, according to the Dorval, Quebec-based Matrox. The boards also include the vendor's calibration feedback system.
