Medical furniture developer AFC Industries of College Point, NY, is launching a new concept in portable reading room design at this week's Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) meeting in Orlando, FL.
MobiCube combines an adjustable reading room partition with an ergonomically designed height-adjustable cart, enabling users to create an instant reading room. MobiCube rests on casters, and can be configured to create a three-sided cubicle or opened fully to create a continuous back wall.
The cubicle's work surface and display heights can be adjusted at the touch of a button, and the monitor's forward, backward, and tilt positions also can be fine-tuned to meet the user's exact needs, the company said.
