ORLANDO, FL - Medical imaging firm Ferrania Imaging Technologies debuted a new inkjet printer, the LifeJet PRI system, for the radiologist referring physician market at the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) conference.
The system consists of an inkjet printer, LifeJet DICOM software that allows the conversion of any Microsoft Windows-based printer into a DICOM printer, different types of print media including medical-grade image paper and 7 mil blue polyester film, and Ferrania inkjet cartridges with specially formulated inks.
The LifeJet PRI system is available now for sale worldwide, according to the Cairo Montenotte, Italy-based vendor.
