Canadian display controller provider Matrox Graphics reported that medical imaging display developer Mitsubishi Electric and Electronics of Cypress, CA, will bundle the Matrox RAD PCI and RAD PCIe display controller boards with its MD211GS2P and MD211GS3P medical displays.
The RAD PCI display controller boards offer dual-output support of up to 3 megapixel (MP) grayscale or color, analog or digital displays respectively, and are equipped with hardware pivot for portrait image displays. The boards are also capable of driving various combinations of color and grayscale displays in stretched or independent modes, and feature the firm's real-time grayscale processing technology, ExtendiGray, according to Dorval, Quebec-based Matrox.
