Carestream Health is offering a new printing program called Managed Print Solutions.
The program pairs the image quality of Carestream's DryView laser imagers and medical films with an all-inclusive program that provides a range of benefits to healthcare providers, the firm said.
Managed Print Solutions helps eliminate the capital investment in film printing systems by offering a payment model based on per-print usage, with management through a Web portal, according to Carestream.
Under the program, Carestream will maintain its laser imagers at the healthcare provider's location and will remotely monitor and deliver film inventory according to each facility's needs.
Other features include electronic payments, a private Web interface, and online interaction with secure and real-time information.
The launch of Managed Print Solutions is underway and will continue in 2014, Carestream said.
