Outpatient imaging provider the Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) has relaunched with a new name, Rayus Radiology.
Under its new branding, the company plans to seek more acquisitions and to develop new imaging centers. This month, Rayus closed an acquisition of InHealth Imaging in Poulsbo, WA; last year, it acquired U.S. MRI and Open Imaging, which runs eight centers in Utah.
Rayus Radiology was established as CDI in 1981. In March 2019, it was acquired by Wellspring Capital Management. In March of this year, it tapped Kim Tzoumakas as its CEO.
