The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has again qualified imaging services provider Rayus Radiology's Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) Quality Institute as a "provider-led entity" (PLE) for the Medicare Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) program.
CMS gives PLE status to "organizations nationwide who are tasked with providing real-time clinical guidance to treating physicians ordering diagnostic imaging procedures such as MRI, CT and PET exams," the company said. CDI Quality Institute includes more than 250 radiologists in Rayus Radiology's network, according to the firm.
