The RSNA Research and Education (R&E) Foundation said it will fund 74 grants for a record total of $2.7 million in 2011.
The R&E Foundation expects that the grants will have an impact on translational research and clinical outcomes, covering a wide range of research and education topics such as molecular imaging, comparative effectiveness, and resident education. It has awarded more than $34 million in grant awards to more than 900 investigators and educators since its inception in 1984, according to the society.
