The American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) has launched a new patient information website.
The site is designed to help patients understand neuroradiology procedures and conditions, telling them what to expect during studies, and explaining the neuroradiologist's role in diagnosing and treating different conditions.
It also provides background on specific diseases, and examines issues that are common in the public eye, such as traumatic brain injury and radiation safety. The site was created by the ASNR's Task Force on Patient-Centered Neuroradiology.
