The Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance (MITA) has hired a new director of federal and state government relations.
Erin Doty Georges said she will advocate for fair legislative and regulatory proposals that encourage innovation and continued investment in research and development.
Prior to joining MITA, Georges served as legislative director for Rep. Heath Shuler (D-NC) and has six years of experience in working on healthcare policy issues. She has also worked as a political researcher for a congressional campaign, a media consulting firm, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
