The RSNA Professionalism Committee has expanded its series of free educational vignettes on ethics and professionalism in radiology.
RSNA's professionalism vignettes are narrative scenarios designed to emphasize the importance of incorporating professionalism into routine practice, according to the organization. Topics include specific ethical dilemmas that may be encountered in practice, from disclosure of radiological errors to sexual harassment.
The new vignette is titled "Professionalism in Radiology Research: Authorship." Dr. Stephen Brown, chair of the RSNA Professionalism Committee, said the vignettes provide radiologists with an opportunity to see how they would react to certain situations and to consider the potential effects of their decisions.
