The American College of Radiology (ACR) has launched a new toolkit designed to help radiologists improve their patient engagement skills and provide more patient-centered care.
Called the Radiologist's Toolkit for Patient- and Family-Centered Care, the online offering includes practice-specific resources that will help radiologists share ideas about patient-centered care, learn from experiences of colleagues, and access a searchable library of tools, resources, articles, and videos, said Dr. James Rawson, chair of the ACR's Commission on Patient- and Family-Centered Care. The toolkit was created by the commission, which collaborated with patients, radiologists, and related professionals on the project.
The ACR launched the toolkit at this week's annual meeting in Washington, DC.
