Bone densitometry developer CompuMed has filed a provisional U.S. patent application for a software tool that monitors the progression of both inflammatory and degenerative joint disease. The application will be sold as an add-on module to the Los Angeles-based vendor’s osteoporosis screening and diagnostic product, OsteoGram.
