The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to release its decision on the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) when it sits again on June 28.
The main questions about the law are whether the mandate for all Americans to purchase health insurance is unconstitutional and whether the suit brought by respondents to challenge the minimum coverage provision of the PPACA is barred by the Anti-Injunction Act.
The Court heard arguments against the law in March. Justices could decide to uphold it, strike down specific portions, or reject it entirely.
