Siemens Healthineers has launched its first U.S.-based Experience Center at The Pearl, Advocate Health’s innovation district in Charlotte, NC.
The 60,000-square-foot facility features the latest technologies in imaging, diagnostics, cancer care, and advanced therapies. It also features collaborative space with a design the company described as "immersive and hands-on."
As part of its partnership with IRCAD North America, Siemens Healthineers will provide medical imaging technology and will support curriculum development for the surgeons and the teams who train at the center.
The Experience Center is the latest Siemens Healthineers investment in North Carolina. The company also operates a technical training center in Cary, NC, and has partnerships with many of the state’s health systems. The Experience Center is expected to draw thousands of domestic and international visitors each year, the company said.
