Sonora, Fischer to launch German probe repair unit

Sonora Medical Systems of Longmont, CO, has signed an exclusive license and supply agreement with German ultrasound service and after-market system provider Fischer Medizintechnik.

Sonora will provide certain proprietary know-how, training, and intellectual property to Fischer of Stuhr, Germany. Fischer will then establish a multivendor service ultrasound transducer repair operation for German-speaking countries in Europe, according to the companies.

Fischer will also market certain ultrasound test device products manufactured by Sonora.
