Philips Healthcare has signed its first two managed-equipment services contracts for medical imaging technology in Australia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Pacific region.
Under the 20-year strategic partnership agreements, Philips will provide Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District and Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District in Australia with delivery, upgrade, optimization, replacement, and maintenance services for all major medical imaging technology, according to the vendor.
Philips said it will manage the health districts' entire inventory of diagnostic and interventional medical imaging equipment and clinical informatics software, including items from other vendors, at the health districts' nine hospital sites in New South Wales, encompassing clinical areas such as radiology, cardiology, and nuclear medicine. Financing services will also be included.
In addition, Philips will implement its PerformanceBridge Practice data analytics service, as well as its DoseWise Portal radiation dose management software, according to the firm.
