Technical exhibits at this year’s RSNA annual meeting in Chicago will showcase radiology’s latest advances, the organization said.
More than 700 companies will cover 400,000 sq ft of space and showcase a wide range of innovations in medical imaging, including CT, MRI, PACS, AI, advanced visualization, augmented reality, and cybersecurity, the RSNA said. The AI Showcase will feature more than 100 companies offering their radiology AI software and products and showcasing their technology in the RSNA AI Theater.
In addition, “Radiology Reimagined: AI, innovation and interoperability in practice” (formerly known as “Imaging AI in Practice”) will feature a demonstration of new AI technologies and integration standards needed to embed AI into the diagnostic radiology workflow. The interactive exhibit, located within the AI Showcase, will enable attendees to introduce and scale AI into their radiology practices, according to the society.
Meanwhile, the 3D Printing & Mixed Reality Showcase will highlight the latest products in 3D printing equipment and software, as well as products like augmented reality, holography, and virtual reality, while the First-Time Exhibitor Pavilion will offer a prime location for new exhibitors to maximize their exposure and engage with their top prospects.
Newly introduced this year, the One Day Showcase will feature new exhibitors each day and showcase local Chicago attractions, startup companies, and service organizations. Also new this year, Exhibit Tours will be offered. These are guided tours through the Technical Exhibits that will allow attendees to connect with colleagues and industry leaders while gaining insight and an insider’s look at cutting-edge technology and equipment. The tours are available as an add-on to meeting registration.
The Technical Exhibits will occupy the North and South Halls at McCormick Place and will be open Sunday, December 1, through Wednesday, December 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT, the RSNA said.
