R2 secures first beta site for ImageChecker CT

Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm R2 Technology will be installing its ImageChecker CT CAD software at the University of Vienna in Austria. The institution will serve as ImageChecker CT's first beta site, with additional European installations to follow shortly, according to Sunnyvale, CA-based R2. ImageChecker CT software, with OmniCAD technology, aids in detecting lung nodules in multislice CT exams, according to the vendor.
