GE Healthcare has introduced AdvantageCTC, the next generation of its CT colonography technology. AdvantageCTC features a 360-degree dissection view of the colon, according to the Waukesha, WI-based vendor.
In addition to providing three different perspectives of the internal colon at one time, AdvantageCTC simultaneously displays colon anatomy acquired in the supine and prone positions in multiple layouts, GE said. The company introduced AdvantageCTC at the Fifth International Symposium on Virtual Colonoscopy, held this week in Boston.
