Siemens Medical Solutions has won a contract with St. Elizabeth's Hospital to renovate the Belleville, IL-based facility's cardiac catheterization laboratories.
The five-year deal features diagnostic imaging, monitoring, and therapeutic technologies from Malvern, PA-based Siemens. Current renovations to St. Elizabeth's Hospital include the creation of a new cardiac cath preparation room, including the first U.S. installation of the Axiom Artis dTC, a fully digital ceiling-mounted cardiac imaging system equipped with flat-panel detector technology, Siemens said.
